Delicia’s vision on sustainability is reflected, for instance, in the long term partnerships with clients and suppliers. Our prime commitment is to conduct business with integrity. We are responsible for our production chain, we want to know the origin of our ingredients and believe that transparency is key for a responsible work structure. Our employees play a very important role in all of this; they are the fundament of our organization. Together we create a safe and healthy working environment.

  The IFS is the German / French counterpart to the English BRC certificate and inspects the quality and food safety of producers that supply to retailers in Germany and France.
• 
  Rainforest Alliance is an international and globally acknowledged hall-mark that is committed to sustainable agriculture which guarantees less use of pesticides and good working conditions.
• 
  This hall-mark guarantees that products are being produced according to the standards for fair trade. The farmers and growers receive fair wages and their rights and health are ensured.
• 
  The Round table on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) stimulates the use of sustainable palm oil with the aim of preventing deforestation, reducing CO2 emissions and protecting the habitats of people and wildlife. RSPO number: 9-0850-14-100-00. Check our progress at www.rspo.org.

  Delicia is affiliated to Sedex. This organization inspects if companies act ethical and responsible.

  The Kosher hall-mark guarantees that a product has been prepared according to the Jewish food laws.
• 
  The Halal hall-mark ensures that the production process is in accordance with the dietary laws that give clear instructions and guidelines that must be respected by Muslims. Delicia can work with different Halal certifiers.
• 
  We make products without artificial flavourings or colourings.
• 
  We do not process nuts or peanuts on our production lines.
• 
  Controlling work safety. The Work Safety Vignette encourages companies in the Dutch confectionery industry to improve safety in the workplace. Certified companies have the tools to manage a safe organizational structure and safe operational processes. They also comply with safety laws and regulations.

  Delicia is BRC certified. BRC is the abbreviation for British Retail Consortium.

  This Code of Conduct for the Dutch Food Industry is a guide to correct conduct and good practice in the field of food safety and product integrity, starting from the seed or (genetic) source material, including animal feed, right up to and including the sale of a product to the consumer.
